The Case Against Brooklyn

"The Case Against Brooklyn" (1958), Columbia. This is the story of a rookie cop who goes undercover to break up a large gambling ring and expose payoffs within the police force. The screenplay was based on an article, "I Broke the Brooklyn Graft Scandal" in True magazine  by Ed Reid. It was directed by Paul Wendkos and  stars Darren McGavin, Maggie Hayes, Warren Stevens, Bobbie Helms, Tol Avery, Emile Meyer  and Peggy McCay.
