"Fantasia" (R1970), Disney. This musical animated classic was directed by Ben Sharpsteen. The score is performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra with Leopold Stokowski and features 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice,' 'The Dance of the Hours,' Rite of Spring' and 'A Night On Bald Mountain.' The psychedelic artwork in this re-release poster was Disney's effort to capitalize on the drug culture of the '70's. This is a one-sheet (27" x 41"). |
