This Howard Hughes film was directed by Lloyd Bacon and stars Jane Russell, Gilbert Roland, Arthur Hunnicutt, Mary McCarty, Craig Stevens, Steven Geray, Joyce McKenzie, Paula Corday and Scott Elliot. Originally filmed in '3-D' Though you won't find her in the credits Marilyn Monroe is said to have visited her friend Jane Russell on the set one day and was persuaded to appear in one scene. Supposedly she donned a yellow gown and slipped into the line with the other chorus girls. |
