One of Oliver Stone's early directing efforts, 'The Hand' 
is the story of a cartoonist whose severed hand takes 
control of his life.

The screenplay by Stone is based on Marc Brandel's 
book 'The Lizard's Tail.'

The film stars Michael Caine as the artist and Andrea Marcovicci as his wife.
The cast also includes Annie McEnroe, Bruce McGill, Viveca Lindfors, 
Rosemary Murphy, Mara Hobel, Pat Corley, and Charles Fleischer.

Look for Oliver Stone in a cameo role as a bum.
